Chief Officers (Fixed Term)

An opportunity has arisen for Chief Officers to join us on a fixed term contract basis working on our Portsmouth – Fishbourne route. If you’re a Chief Officer with an unlimited mates ticket and love the idea of sleeping in your own bed at night, no long deployments and to work for a company who values its colleagues – please apply!

What we&#8217;re looking for
You will have demonstrable business development skills and experience with a positive and proactive approach to BD. You will have the ability to identify client needs in advance, develop sales campaigns, and support the construction of compelling proposals.
Applicants must have a strong client relationship and business development mind-set. It would be advantageous to have existing knowledge of the marina, logistics or travel markets, however, we will consider any sales/business development professionals from any industry.
If you are looking to progress in your sales career and can demonstrate a pro-active, target driven, client focussed attitude this could be the perfect position for you.

Business Development Manager

There’s never been a better time to join Wightlink. After the continued success of the Commercial Sales team, we are now looking to expand and recruit two dynamic Business Development Managers. These are newly created roles, reporting to the Head of Commercial Sales.

What we&#8217;re looking for

<li>Qualifications or a Degree in an environmental/statistics/analytical subject would be an advantageous or relevant experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of environmental law</li>
<li>Comfortable presenting to Senior Leaders</li>
<li>Resilient and driven with the confidence to challenge, appropriately and drive company initiatives within the environmental space</li>
<li>Highly organised and capable of working to deadlines</li>
<li>Analytical thinker with an interest in data driven research</li>

Environmental Analyst

We are seeking an Environmental Analyst to join us in our Head Office in Portsmouth. This role will span all departments but primarily Health &amp; Safety and Engineering. You will identify, lead and report using data driven analysis, on environmental and sustainability initiatives within the business.
